BRECHT EVENS

Brecht Evens has just graduated from the Sint-Lukas School in Ghent and published “Les Noceurs”, his final project at the age of 22. Representing a new generation of young authors, the Flemish artist depicts his country and its culture in this first book, translated into seven languages, which won the Audacity Prize at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. After Les Amateurs (2011) and Panthère (2014), both in the official selection of the Festival, he pays tribute to Paris for the Vuitton publishing house in his latest work. He works in parallel at the Martel gallery, for the press and the fashion world. He lives and works in Paris.
