Sibri Ablasse Zongo has been involved in daily singing and traditional music for a long time. He learned to play the Kundé and the Wamdé, which are the rhythms of popular celebrations in Moaga country. Imbued by this heritage of rhythms and hymns, he has been looking for other sounds from Africa and the world to give a mixed accent, Afro-beat, Rock, World music & Jazz to his music.
In 2020/2021, he is a laureate of the Visa pour la création programme, a scheme run by the French Institute, for a research/creation residency for his first album NIISSAALA.
