Xiquitsi

In 2013, the Kulungwana Association created the Xiquitsi Project, aimed at children and young people aged 6 to 25, with the aim of integrating and socially integrating young people, as well as professional training through collective music education. . Xiquitsi has two aspects: the formation of Mozambican orchestras and choirs and the classical music season.
The project offers free and free access to music education, with students mostly from disadvantaged social strata.
One of the central concepts of the Xiquitsi project, decentralization, finds an echo in the work of dissemination and promotion of classical music through musical activities.
