Rokia Traoré & Ruben Pellejero

Rokia Traoré is a Malian author, composer, performer and guitarist. Her discography consists of six albums, released between 1998 and 2016. Her original style earned her a Victoire de la Musique award in the World Music category in 2009. Rokia Traoré is also the founder and president of the Passerelle Foundation in Bamako, which supports young musical and artistic creation in Mali, where she lives.

Rubén Pellejero, Spanish, has been working as a cartoonist since 1970, before turning to comics in 1982. His line, elegant and realistic, seems to be inspired both by Italian comics and by the black and white work of Jean Giraud.
